There is nothing more important to a mom than time! I swear, there’s never enough time in my day to get everything done, especially working a full-time job and taking care of two little ones. In order to save time (and money), I buy most of my household staples in bulk using my Sam’s Club membership.
And as a mom of two, one of those household staples is diapers. Buying diapers in bulk not only saves time, but saves significant money! And instead of the usual one-month supply I’m used to getting, Sam’s Club now carries Huggies Biggest Pack Ever – a 2 month supply (over 300 diapers!).
I was invited to purchase the new 2 month supply of Huggies at my local Sam’s Club for the purpose of getting the word out on this awesome deal! To save even more time, I ordered online the night before and picked up in the club the next day. This was a great alternative to shopping the traditional way because it was a holiday weekend and super busy! Buying online was SO easy, then when you get to the store, you just check in at a special kiosk and a sales associate meets you with your cart full of items.
Buying once every two months and shopping online can save a good chunk of time over two months! Think of a 15-20 minute trip to the store every week for diapers (120+ minutes total) versus one trip with in-store pickup (less than 30 minutes)! To purchase online, I just logged into my Sam’s Club account, searched for “Huggies Mega Colossal Pack” and added to my cart. Club pickup is free, but you can even ship it to your house! I chose Club Pickup this time because I was buying a few other items that weren’t eligible for free shipping.
Additionally, buying in bulk saves money! The Huggies Little Movers 2-Month supply box was $61.98 at my local club. For 312 diapers, this equates to $0.19 a diaper, which was the lowest price I could find at that time when comparing to all other major retailers and Amazon. Soft packs of Huggies run around $0.32 a piece, nearly double the cost!
Overall, I think the two month supply will work out great for us. Even though it’s a ton of diapers up front, the savings are worth it (almost cutting the cost in half!). It’s also a huge time saver to shop once every two months instead of grabbing a soft-pack here and there as I run out.
