As a mom of two small boys, my diaper bag has become my home away from home. It’s easy to over-pack – so I’m always on the hunt for multi-purpose products that can save time and space! Here’s what I carry with us everyday.

fawn design bag

I LOVE this diaper bag. I wouldn’t even limit it to just diapers – it’s a great all-purpose bag that converts from messenger style to backpack (which is perfect for hands-free carrying). It’s made of a faux leather (inside and out) which is great because it’s waterproof and wipeable – especially helpful for the crud that accumulates at the bottom of bags. It’s got plenty of pockets and looks great – I get compliments on it ALL the time.

travelon packing squares

These are great for organizing within your bag. The fawn has great pockets on the inside, too, I just like the ability to pull out a certain square depending on what I need. I keep stuff for myself in one, a change of clothes for both kids in another, and medicines/first aid stuff in the third.

ju ju be be quick wristlet

The great thing about this wristlet is the functionality. If you are just running in somewhere, you can grab this bag with just your diapers and wipes and there’s even extra room for your phone and keys. It also has a great wrist strap that can be hung on stroller handles.

earth rated waste bags

So these are actually for dogs – but they’re a lot cheaper than the “baby” diaper bags. I use them for all kinds of things – cleaning up on the go, dirty diapers, wet clothes, etc.. Plus, the lavender smell is great!

phone charger keychain / power bank

Did you know you can keep a USB charger on your keyring? It’s incredibly handy. My phone is always dead – I can’t leave home without a power bank.

hand and face wipes

I love the way the Johnson & Johnson Hand and Face Wipes smell. They are great in a pinch!

muslin swaddle

A muslin swaddle serves so many purposes… blanket, burp rag, nursing cover, play mat, etc..

multi-purpose nursing cover

I like this one from Covered Goods. These are super stretchy and give 360 degree coverage while nursing. They also work as a grocery-cart liner and breathable infant seat cover (which I use ALL the time).

This bag looks more stylish than a diaper bag. I use the doggie bags too to hold diapers. I will check out the brand you suggested because I’m always looking for more earth friendly items.

Luckily, I no longer carry a diaper bag, but this one is awesome! I do still carry wipes, and a change of pants, just in case of accidents. Those doggie bags are a brilliant solution.

A power bank is a MUST with how often my phone plays YouTube videos of Barney, hahahaha! I’ve never heard of the waste bags, but definitely something I’ll need to check out-we usually just use our wet bag! Thanks for sharing <3

Well, my diaper bag then was my purse too! I only bring my wallet so it not cluttered and the rest are baby stuff.

I LOVE my fawn bag! And 90% of what you have listed here I have. 🙂 I need to remember to pack a power pack.

I used to use the doggie bags too for diaper disposal! LOL And I agree segmenting your supplies into separate bags makes it easy to grab just what you need. 🙂

I totally forgot that I have a power bank until I read this! So stealing that back from my husband

Ooh, love getting a peek at what other moms keep in their diaper bag! And that bag is super cute!

Can I just say that I wish I’d had a diaper bag like that when my kids were little? So cute compared to the ones I had that screamed “new mom new mom new mom!”

They have packing squares for diaper bags??? What a terrific idea! I’m out of the baby stage, but I currently have two in diapers (one who will probably remain so for years due to autism). Something for my wish list!

Goodness, I’m past the days of diaper bags but I don’t know if it’s permanently or temporarily 🙂 A must-have for us was a change of clothes. We needed them more times than I can recall.
